Bernoulli, PatientSafe Announce Joint Demo at HIMSS17

himss17-logomHealthWatch learned Tuesday that Bernoulli and PatientSafe Solutions are teaming up at the 2017 Annual HIMSS Conference & Exhibition (HIMSS17) in Orlando.

The partners in question will demonstrate how access to real-time patient alarms, data and waveforms delivered on a workflow-driven secure communication platform seamlessly extends hospital communication and patient infrastructure.

We’re told that the demonstration will be held Monday, Feb. 20 through Wednesday, Feb. 22, at the PatientSafe booth (#815) and features the award-winning Bernoulli One, which enables real-time collection, aggregation, and distribution of patient-generated data (including alarms and waveforms), integrated with PatientTouch, a care collaboration platform that unifies secure messaging, voice, alerts, nurse calls, EMR data and clinical workflows all in one mobile app, on one device.

Medical device and alarm data routed instantly through a secure mobile platform provides frontline caregivers immediate access to a patient’s condition, enabling greater insight, faster response, improved patient safety and more efficient care delivery.

“Hospitals are experiencing a dramatic acceleration of mobile device adoption alongside increased focus on healthcare value and care coordination,” said Si Luo, President and CEO of PatientSafe Solutions. “Integrated patient and clinical context is a critical ingredient for success. Our demonstration of Bernoulli’s real-time data delivery highlights an innovative solution to drive improved patient safety and satisfaction.”
