On Wednesday, MHW was briefed on the big news from Accolade.

This morning, the company announced the new Maya Intelligence Engine featuring Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning to provide what we’re told is “highly personalized healthcare support for individuals and their families.”

Maya is core to the Accolade healthcare engagement and influence platform, which supports individuals in making smart healthcare decisions that improve their healthcare experience and health outcomes, as well as costs to both individuals and their employers.

CitiusTech Listed among the Top 100 Healthcare Technology Companies of 2017

MHW learned Monday that CitiusTech — a leading provider of healthcare technology services and solutions — announced that it has been featured in the prestigious 2017 Healthcare Informatics 100 list for the second consecutive year.

Healthcare Informatics annually ranks top healthcare technology companies with the highest revenues derived from healthcare IT products and services earned in the U.S.

“CitiusTech is honored to have joined the elite list of organizations recognized by Healthcare Informatics. CitiusTech has continued to exhibit a strong revenue growth over the last five years, and in 2016, achieved revenues of $112 million,” reads a statement emailed to MHW.

Aegex Collaborates with Verizon, Nokia, Guardian Centers

MHW learned this week that Verizon, Nokia and  Aegex Technologies LLC  have collaborated on a unique partner and user event at the Guardian Centers focused on demonstrating a secure Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystem and emergency response technologies in a “meta-scale” environment with realistic industrial and emergency response scenarios.

According to a statement emailed to MHW, the event — Operation Convergent Response (#OCR2017) — is being held today and tomorrow at the Guardian Centers training facility in Perry, Georgia.

It is the largest collaborative effort for learning about and testing IoT and emergency response solutions for very large and complex hazardous areas.

dotHealth LLC, the official registry of the .health domain extension, confirmed ahead of the weekend that it will partner with internet pharmacy verification and monitoring firm LegitScript to monitor all registered .health domain names for health-related content that is unsafe, illegal, or puts internet users’ health and safety at risk.

The partnership is part of dotHealth’s objective to build a credible and secure home for health online.
