Biotricity Confirms Support of Progressive Changes in Telemedicine Healthcare Policy

Biotricity Inc., a medical diagnostic and consumer healthcare technology company, is once again acknowledging the importance of telemedicine by announcing its support of the proposed changes in healthcare policy and its expansion into healthcare practices.
“Biotricity believes that the rise of telemedicine at the federal and state levels points to a healthcare shift that promotes remote care delivery,” an emailed statement to MHW reads.

This direction, we’re told, could create opportunities for remote patient monitoring solutions that can be integrated within telemedicine.

ClearHealth Quality Institute Announces Online Web Portal for Telemedicine Accreditation Programs

ClearHealth Quality Institute has just launched an online, user-friendly portal to help streamline the accreditation process for organizations applying for CHQI’s Telemedicine Accreditation Program.

“Organizations offering telemedicine services throughout the entire continuum of care, including both provider-to-provider and provider-to-patient telehealth consultations, will benefit from this new tool and may now create an account to receive the latest information detailing CHQI’s accreditation application process,” Wednesday’s official word reads.

Doug Clarke, CHQI Director of Accreditation Programs, says the online portal is designed with their customers in mind.

TeleHealth Solutions Revolutionizing Healthcare Behind Bars

Telemedicine continues to revolutionize healthcare in every space imaginable, including inside of prisons and correctional facilities.

MobileHelp Shares Results of New Healthcare Provider Survey

Ahead of the extended holiday weekend in the United States, MobileHelp — a leader in mobile Personal Emergency Response System (mPERS) and healthcare technology solutions — reported that nearly 30 percent of healthcare providers have implemented telehealth programs into their clinical operations.

This data point was part of the results of an “extensive survey of healthcare providers” conducted by the company.

We’re told that the survey also revealed that more than 85 percent of healthcare providers not currently using telehealth services see the clear benefit. Of those currently not using telehealth technology, nearly 25 percent reported they are looking to implement it within twelve months.
