Compulink Rolls Out Mobile Patient Engagement Technology to Increase Revenue at AAD 2018

Compulink Business Systems, Inc., a powerhouse in EHR and Practice Management solutions for dermatology, will demonstrate the latest enhancements to Dermatology Advantage™ at this week’s American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) Annual Meeting.
Among the key innovations being demonstrated is a solution to engage patients with a state-of-the-art mobile experience, MHW has learned.

Advantage’s mobile Patient Engagement app allows for delivery of personalized content to the patient’s phone via a text message. Content can be targeted based on the patient’s appointment type and diagnosis. The app can be used to market products and services, along with delivering patient education. Surveys can also be sent to patient’s phone and the feedback collected is automatically brought back into Advantage for analysis.

“We’ve developed patient engagement technology that’s unique in a couple of important ways. First, it allows providers to engage directly with the patient’s mobile phone via text and without requiring an app download. Secondly, it’s integrated with our software to allow providers to send content specific to the patients’ needs and in real-time while they are in the office,” said Link Wilson, CEO and founder of Compulink. “We think this is going to open up the channel for providers to communicate with patients in ways they have not been able to before.”
