First Look: Digital Group Insurance Platform Touts One Billion in Premium Billed

This week, MHW confirmed that RATECentric — a digital software platform for the small group insurance industry — recently hit milestone of one billion in premium billed.

The Premium Billing & Collections platform was developed for exclusive use by nationally recognized carriers and independent producers across all 50 states selling and administering benefits programs for employer groups with 100 employees or less.

So how does it work?

The end -to-end technology allows employers and producers to select from flexible payment options including credit card, check and ACH that are processed through a self-service portal that reduces administrative overhead and call center volume for carriers and brokers. The Premium Billing & Collections platform serves as an affordable back office solution that can be easily integrated with RATECentric’s Quoting & Case Submissions platform providing brokers with single-carrier or multiple-carrier rates and proposals.

We’re told that RATECentric’s Quoting and Case Submissions Platform also gives carriers and brokers the ability to obtain instant group rates, digital enrollment including pre-populated and e-signable case documents. The technology reduces case processing from days to less than an hour and reduces internal sold-policy processing expenses.
