MobileCause Hires New CEO, Victor Limongelli

MHW learned Thursday that MobileCause — a leading provider of online fundraising and donor engagement software — has announced that the company’s board of directors has appointed Victor Limongelli as its new chief executive officer.

Limongelli brings more than 20 years of experience in leading and growing companies in the software industry. Most recently, he served as Chairman and CEO of AccessData, a provider of integrated digital forensics and e-discovery software. Previously, he served for seven years as president and CEO of Guidance Software, a digital forensics, e-discovery, and cybersecurity software company. During his tenure at Guidance, he led the company’s growth to $130 million in revenue, and helped lead its Initial Public Offering (IPO) in 2006.

“Nonprofit organizations are finding it more difficult to keep their donors engaged and raise money to advance their causes,” said Victor Limongelli, MobileCause CEO. “MobileCause’s SaaS platform enables nonprofits to build donor engagement over time, and raise more money efficiently. We will continue to focus on enhancing the MobileCause platform to help our customers be more successful as they fulfill their missions.”

Limongelli succeeds Sean MacNeill, who served as CEO for the past four years.

“MobileCause has achieved high growth year-over-year since 2008,” said Yuri Pikover, MobileCause Chairman. “We’re now looking forward to the company’s next growth trajectory with new product innovation, new service offerings and new customer success programs under Victor’s leadership.”

Limongelli began his career as an attorney at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, a global law firm. He earned his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College and his J.D. from Columbia University School of Law.
