New App Offers ‘Safe Approach’ to OTC Meds

New App Offers 'Safe Approach' to OTC MedsThe new OTCplus Mobile App is touted by its maker for proficiency in matching symptoms to the correct over the counter medications, eliminating the guesswork, and saving money for consumers.

That’s the claim today from ACE Innovation Group, which was motivated to develop the OTCplus Mobile App for iPhone and Android users.

Most people do not realize the dangers of using guesswork to decide which over-the-counter medication to choose, the company says, reiterating how this can quickly devolve into “a very serious situation.”

Potentially, it could even lead to a fatal mistake.

“OTCplus is already saving lives,” the team at ACE insists. “This free app is as handy as a person’s cell phone. Until now, a consumer had to walk the isles of their local pharmacy, where they would be mesmerized by the most brightly colored label that looks like it may be the right choice for their symptoms. This is no way to choose a medicinal compound that could destroy their liver, cause an allergic reaction, and maybe be fatal if used in combination with other OTC drugs and prescription medications.”

It is one thing to ask the pharmacist for a recommendation, but most people do not want to approach them, and are embarrassed. This new app has been pre-loaded with tons of information about OTC medications and the accompanying data. It doesn’t get much simpler than this.
