MHW learned Tuesday that registration has now begun for the 2013 mHealth Summit.
This year’s event will be held December 8-11, 2013 at the Gaylord National Harbor Convention Center, in the Washington, D.C. area.
As the largest event of its kind, the 5th Annual mHealth Summit will bring together more than 5,000 mobile and wireless technology innovators, influencers, and developers, with healthcare industry executives, medical and health researchers, providers, insurers, government leaders and policy makers, NGOs, non-profit and corporate executives, and VCs from more than 60 countries.
“As the healthcare system asks for a shared partnership of care between physicians and patients, tools that help them engage in their health will be critically important,” says Rich Scarfo, Vice President of Events at HIMSS and Director of the mHealth Summit.
“Mobile technologies,” he adds, “represent the future of both the consumer electronics and healthcare industries, and the mHealth Summit has become the top industry event for crucial cross-sectoral discussions about what lies ahead in the world of mobile and wireless.”
