Sensei Health & Wellness Suite Wins Novartis $100K CardioEngagement Challenge

It’s been revealed that Sensei has won the $100K CardioEngagement Challenge sponsored by Novartis.

Sensei, who’s created a mobile app suite that’s described as a fully featured health and wellness program, leverages mobile phones as tracking devices to offer a holistic approach by integrating modules for healthy eating, fitness, weight management, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and diabetes. ┬áPatients can track their health over time and even receive financial incentives in for the form of coupons and promotions to drive motivation and engagement.

Sensei is leveraging a B2B model with its mobile app suite, which uses an open architecture that’s tailored to deliver white label distributions for employer or wellness groups to license the application to their members. ┬áThe fact that Sensei’s solutions leverage incentives and rewards for healthy living make it a perfect opportunity for large employers and organizations to integrate it into company-sponsored health programs.

Sensei beat out three other semi-finalists for the CardioEngagement Challenge, including MedRespond, mHealthCoach, and Worrell.
