It’s been announced that Fargo, ND -based DMS Health Technologies, a provider of mobile imaging solutions, has been acquired by Platinum Equity for an undisclosed sum.
DMS Health Technologies provides mobile, interim and fixed-site diagnostic imaging solutions to hospitals, clinics and other medical providers, including MRI, CT, PET/CT, nuclear medicine and digital mammography systems. The company also sells and services Philips Medical diagnostic imaging and monitoring equipment in the upper Midwest region and sells and rents refurbished medical equipment, according to a press release today.

NantWorks, the healthcare technology powerhouse founded by Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong, has had another busy week — acquiring yet another healthcare technology startup and winning two more prestigious innovation awards.
The company’s latest acquisition was for Ziosoft, a startup with a focus on 4D and 5D medical imaging and analytics. The company’s technology is already in use across 2,000 medical installations in Japan and was a favorable target for NantWorks for its supercomputing software architecture.
