LifeMap Solutions Maps Out New Solutions for Mobile

carousel_cLifeMap Solutions, the digital health subsidiary of BioTime, Inc. and co-developer of ResearchKit-enabled app Asthma Health, recently announced a new service to develop custom smartphone apps and research studies for partners worldwide.

Through the new service, LifeMap offers clients its deep expertise in medical science, consumer behavior, app analytics, and design. LifeMap then adds the client’s own unique expertise to the mix and guides the development, from concept to completion, of a new research or care app and, optionally, a scientific study.

As the only commercial developer to participate in the launch of Apple’s ResearchKit, LifeMap Solutions has garnered worldwide attention for creating what it calls :engaging, innovative, and data-driven” mobile health apps.

LifeMap Sciences Announces Partnership with MedGenome

LifeMap Sciences Announces Partnership with MedGenomeLifeMap Sciences, Inc., a life sciences technology company, confirmed Wednesday its new partnership with MedGenome, Inc., a genomics-based diagnostics and research company.

Specifically, the partners announced today a global collaboration agreement.

The agreement will strengthen LifeMap’s next generation sequencing (NGS) analysis solutions in the oncology field by incorporating data from MedGenome’s OncoMD database for use by LifeMap clients. The Oncology NGS market is a significant growth driver within the multi-billion dollar global NGS market.

“LifeMap’s NGS products facilitate and enhance biomedical research and healthcare outcomes,” a provided statement explains. “Powered by its comprehensive, proprietary GeneCards knowledgebase, LifeMap’s NGS analytics software can rapidly and cost-effectively identify genetic variants that impact disease management and health outcomes. The GeneCards knowledgebase is used by more than 3000 institutions in over 200 countries worldwide.”
