According to a provided media release, QuotitGO is designed to give brokers the ability to quote insurance options for consumers on the go, including real-time subsidy calculations, “an important distinction between QuotitGO and other apps as over 85% of Americans qualified for subsidies in 2015 when enrolling in ACA marketplace plans.”

Physician Referrals The Driving Force Behind mHealth Adoption RatesRecent research by MedPanel shows that the majority of physicians are not currently discussing mobile health technology with their patients. However, a second study conducted by Research Now shows that 76% of physicians agree that mobile apps could be effective in helping patients manage chronic conditions.

According to Mobile Commerce News, the disconnect is likely that physicians simply are unsure of which applications to recommend. That being said, physicians who work in accountable care organizations (ACO) are typically two-times more likely of discussing both the mobile health apps, as well as wearable technology than physicians who do not work in ACOs.
