Wildflower Health Confirms $8 Million Capital Investment

Wildflower Health announced it has secured $8 million in capital investment to advance its mission of growing healthy families.

The funding round was led by Health Enterprise Partners, a growth equity firm specializing in healthcare services and information technology whose investors include some of the largest health systems and health plans across the country.

Existing investors Hatteras Venture Partners and Echo Health also participated. As part of the round, Ezra Mehlman of HEP joins the Wildflower Health Board of Directors.

Wildflower Health Expands into New MarketsWildflower Health, producer of mobile maternity program Due Date Plus, is now available in Medicaid states including Louisiana, Texas, Wyoming and others, according to an announcement shared this morning with mHealthWatch.

Due Date Plus helps payors such as Medicaid administrators, insurance companies and self-insured employers engage members to “better predict, prevent and treat high-risk pregnancies.”

Wildflower Health Expanding Mobile Platform for Maternity and Family Health

Wildflower Health Expanding Mobile platform for Naternity and Family HealthWildflower Health has just announced a $5 million investment in the company to facilitate what the organization calls its “strategic expansion.”

New investors Easton Capital and Hatteras Venture Partners led the funding round with participation by existing investors Cambia Health Solutions and HealthTechCapital.

The mission to be expanded?  The financing, we’re told, will help Wildflower expand its offerings to include new programs that help families manage their healthcare and connect them to the healthcare system in a more efficient, smarter way.
