Vermont to Host Health Care Technology Summit This Fall

Vermont to Host Health Care Technology Summit This FallMake room for yet another prominent healthcare and technology summit. This one is coming in early fall of this year.

Vermont Information Technology Leaders (VITL) has just announced the 2015 Transforming Health Care Through Technology Summit at the Sheraton Burlington Hotel & Conference Center in Burlington, Vermont.

The Summit will open on September 30 and close October 1.

This is the ninth year that VITL is hosting one of New England’s top conferences for health information technology, we’re told.

VITL President and CEO John K. Evans says that health care in Vermont — and nationally — “is transforming from the traditional fee-for-service model to a system based on clinical, financial and patient satisfaction outcomes. Information technology is a foundational element of health care reform efforts, and the VITL Summit will explore and highlight the transformations that ensure health information is secure and readily available when providers need it.”
