Blue Cross Invests $4M in Telemedicine Startup


Blue Cross Invests $4M in Telemedicine StartupAccording to Triangle Business Journal, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina has invested $4 million in Durham, North Carolina-based mobile health startup TouchCare.

The infusion of cash, we’re told, brings TouchCare close to the $5 million it announced plans to raise in a Series A round.

TouchCare’s mobile app “remotely connects patients and their own healthcare providers via smartphone or tablets for video appointments.”
