Tunstall Acquires Providence Lifeline Medical Alert

Ahead of the weekend, MHW learned that Tunstall Healthcare Group, a leader in remote care and safety monitoring, has acquired Providence Lifeline Medical Alert Service via its U.S. subsidiary, Tunstall Americas.

The acquisition, we’re told, demonstrates Tunstall’s commitment to expand its service footprint across the United States through acquiring or partnering with highly regarded regional, state, and local providers of telecare, medical alarms, and medication management services.

If you’re not familiar, Tunstall Americas provides nationwide 24/7 healthcare monitoring services from HIPAA compliant call centers in New York and Rhode Island.

Tunstall also manufactures a wide range of medical alert, telehealth, and medication management solutions.

“We are delighted to welcome Providence Lifeline Medical Alert Service’s professional team and thousands of customers to the Tunstall family,” says Oscar Meyer, President and CEO of Tunstall Americas. “This is our largest acquisition to date and helps us to fulfill our vision of helping people remain safe, healthy, and independent at home through innovative healthcare technology and high-touch personal monitoring services across the country.”
