Wildflower Health, producer of mobile maternity program Due Date Plus, is now available in Medicaid states including Louisiana, Texas, Wyoming and others, according to an announcement shared this morning with mHealthWatch.
Due Date Plus helps payors such as Medicaid administrators, insurance companies and self-insured employers engage members to “better predict, prevent and treat high-risk pregnancies.”
Through Wildflower’s commercial and Medicaid health plan clients, the program currently covers over two million lives.
“We are excited to expand the availability of Due Date Plus to more women across the United States–especially those who need it the most,” says Leah Sparks, co-founder and CEO of Wildflower Health. “By engaging an increasing number of lower income women during their pregnancies, we believe that we can help them take greater control of their overall health and give them the tools they need to create longer, healthier lives for their families and themselves.”
